Introduction

The Test Environment Toolkit (TET) offers the core facilities of TETware to UNIX and Linux users only. It is provided as an open source,  unsupported, command-line product . It is widely used in many test applications including The Open Group's UNIX Certification program and the Free Standards Group's LSB Certification program.

A Brief History of TET

TET, and TETware, can trace their route back, through the TET project to September 1989.  The result is that these products are now robust, and well established for a wide variety of testing applications (more . . .).

TET Support

The Open Group does provide support to TET users.  Subscribers to the Support and Maintenance service not only receive help with their software testing projects, but also receive access to an enhanced release, TETware.

Funding the TET Project

It is the organizations that subscribe to TET Support and Maintenance that fund not only the support and maintenance service but also the on-going development and availability of TET for the benefit of the entire software and hardware development community.  Without the subscribers The Open Group would not be able to make TET so freely available.  Many organizations use the public TET release, and receive direct benefit from it, but few contribute to the maintenance or development of TET.

The Open Group would like to invite organizations that find benefit in TET to contribute towards the future maintenance and development of TET by subscribing to TET Support and Maintenance, our new product packaging make this more affordable than ever before.
