Setting DefaultsIt is possible to set the values that a Test Run contains as the defaults for that session of TETware. Once the defaults are set it is then possible to set the configuration values for another Test Run to those values. It should be noted that setting the defaults for a Test Run is handled in different ways, depending upon whether you try to set the defaults via the "Config" menu or via a right-click on a node in the Test Run. Config menu default settingSave as default settingsIf the "Save as default settings" menu item is chosen from the "Config" menu then TETware will:
Revert to default settingsIf the "Revert to default settings" menu item is chosen from the "Config" menu then TETware will:
Default setting via right-clicking on a tree nodeSave as default settingsIt is also possible to set the defaults for a Test Run via the right-click menus on the various tree nodes. It should be noted that when the defaults are set via the right-click menus then only the configuration associated with that tree node will be set as the defaults. The configuration that you can set the defaults for via the right-click menus are:
Revert to default settingsIf the "Revert to default settings" menu item is chosen from a right-hand menu then the configuration values associated with that tree node will be set to the saved defaults.
Important notesPlease note that if no defaults have not saved and the User chooses to set the defaults (regardless of origin) then the configuration values will be set to blank, there are NO built in default values coded into TETware defaults. |
