Advanced tabThe Advanced tab is the place where all the values considered to "outside the normal scope of operation for TETware" are placed. It may be that certain Users will use these features regularly however it is felt that overall these functions are "Advanced". The Advanced tab contains the following items:
TimeoutValueThe User is able to specify a timeout that should be passed to TETware to indicate the amount of time (in seconds) that the TETware should wait for a Test to complete. The User is able to specify a value for the Timeout. The Timeout fields are setup such that the User can specify their own Timeout value or they can specify a pre-defined value given in the drop down box, either 10, 20, 50, 100, 200. If a User specified Timeout is required then it can be typed directly into the first field of the drop down box. UnitsThe User is also able to specify a "Units" value that will act as a multiplier for the Timeout value. The multipliers are Seconds, Minutes and Hours. Only one multiplier can be specified. Therefore, if the User chooses to have a timeout of 15 hours, they type 15 into the drop down box and choose "Hours" as the "Units" value. When the User executes the Test Run TETware will determine the value of the Timeout in seconds, using 15 * multiplier (in this case 3600) and then pass that value to TETware. So for 15 hours the Timeout passed to TETware will be 15 * 3600 = 54,000. Journal file nameThis field allows the User to specify the name of the Journal file that TETware should use for Journal file entries. If specified this value is passed directly to TETware. Please note that the path must be specified as well as the name of the file. |
